Normally for the first week of August a group from St Alban’s would head to Walsingham (in Norfolk) for the the Youth Pilgrimage. Sadly this year we couldn’t go – but all was not lost! With some wonderful resources from the Shrine, we kept the spirit of the Youth Pilgrimage at St Alban’s. We had seven young people join us for worship, crafts, games and fun (including a water fight and a river walk). The theme for the week helped us to think about God’s creation and our place in it. Each day we made crafts that allowed us show love for creation, including some gifts for the congregation.
Thank you to all those who came long and those who made the week possible.
